On Thursday, April 21, 2022, around 4:00 p.m., six individuals were injured in a car accident in Coconut Creek on Thursday, four of them were minors. The skid tracks left on the road, according to police, are solid evidence that the automobile was speeding. All six occupants of the car were taken to the hospital. Two of them are in their thirties. The other four were adolescent females, one of them was only 14 years old. The collision happened soon after 4 p.m., near the intersection of Coconut Creek Parkway and NW 45th Avenue, less than 100 feet from Fire Station 50. The automobile accident was filmed on surveillance camera from a neighboring property. A red Chevy Camaro, it’s thought, lost control and smashed into a traffic control box. Customers at a nearby restaurant witnessed the terrifying events. The restaurant’s security camera captures the automobile speeding by just before it loses control. The extent of the destruction can be seen in aerial photographs of the disaster. Investigators are now trying to discover out why the automobile was speeding before losing control, leaping the median, and colliding with the traffic control box. The patrons of the restaurant pray for the victims of the accident. Two victims were transported to Broward Health North, a trauma hospital with levels one and two. It’s unclear if they were wearing a seatbelt or were thrown out of the vehicle.
